Micro Canvas

Sound design/granular synthesis - This piece is centered around tiny samples called "grains." I sampled my saxophone to make the grains and played them live as looped samples on the Elektron Model Samples sequencer/sampler. During the piece you can hear the sound is affected by pitch, frequency, reverb, delay, etc... Other instruments: Gong "Dark Star", Korg NTS1 synthesizer.
