Saint Michael the Archangel, known as the head of the armies of God. The Catholic Church considers this figure to be the protector of the Universal Church, since he is responsible for frustrating the works of Lucifer, the archangel of the fallen angels. Being the best known of the archangels, he is also the most invoked, as people consider him a spiritual warrior.
In the representations, the archangel Michael is shown with the armor of a warrior or a centurion soldier. Being Satan's enemy, he is also often shown as his conqueror, with his heel on the fallen angel's head, who lies on the ground, completely defeated. Another of the most common elements that he presents is a sword or a spear, although he can also appear with a scale, keys or chains in his hands, as well as a cloak.
