We are frozen in the gap between no longer what we were and not yet what we are to become. We are at a point of fractured time - where the shadows of thoughts weigh more than the body, and silence cries out for change. Our forms dissolve in uncertainty, like dreams that awakening does not have time to remember. Metamorphosis is not an event, it is a state. The state of a stretched moment in which WE lose our contours in order, perhaps, to give birth to a new essence. And this transformation is not always liberation. Sometimes it is a gentle fall into an even deeper trap of ourselves.
