Metamorphosis

There are moments in our lives that transform and evolve us – moments when we come into our own. This photograph represents that moment for me. It was a pivotal day in my life when I chose to face my fears and take a risk. When I look at this photograph, I am reminded of the day I started my arduous hike at two o’clock in the morning to catch my first sunrise on top of a mountain. It continues to inspire me to push though my fears and to reinvent myself. Since then, I have captured many more sunrises but this one will always have a special place in my heart.
