Meta(morphosis)

Who are we really? In an ever-online world, our digital avatars often feel more authentic than our physical selves. Meta(morphosis) explores this, where digital identities take on lives of their own, sometimes feeling more real than the people behind the screens. Our true or ‘desired’ personalities emerge more freely online, making digital rights crucial. The computer acts as a portal, not just a tool, enabling communities where anyone can belong. The painting shows the physical self as an observer, gazing at larger-than-life digital selves, questioning whether the physical is merely an extension.
