Metallurgy (2021)

My 3D modeler/renderer of choice since the 90s has always been Lightwave3D. Most of my abstract, space and interior renders created between '99 and '20 were fashioned using that venerable software package. In 2020, however, I decided Lightwave was no longer keeping up with the industry so after 20 years using the same workflow I moved to Blender3D.

I wish I could say it has been easy but I've had to relearn a lot of concepts and follow more YouTube tutorials than my pride will enumerate. After all that I think I am finally to the point with Blender where my artistry is starting to show through and I hope this, my latest abstract render, is evidence of that progress.
