This subset of the hokusai metafractal shows a wave in the sea. To create it, a subset of the parameter space of a complex function is sampled. The function is then iterated with a given parameter to generate a unique fractal. Tiling these fractals in order over the square gives rise to waves made of waves extending infinitely far. As far... as the computer can manage... of course.
