META BLOCK LINZ
MetaBlockLinz is a meta-participatory architectural project created by Alexander Grasser and Alexandra Parger as part of the exhibition ‘Meta.Space’, opening August 31, 2022, curated by Markus Reindl and Fabian Müller-Nittel at the Francisco Carolinum Linz Austria, directed by Alfred Weidlinger.
MetaBlockLinz : 1) A realtime-participatory NFT + 2) A 1:1 scale architectural prototype constructed at Meta.Space exhibition in Linz 3) Documentation of MetaBlockLinz
MetaBlockLinz is an open architecture, an inclusive collaborative process that encourages playful co-creation, while exploring accelerated collective content production in the Metaverse. The project consists of three parts that aim to make this open architecture, this hybrid collective form, tangible and accessible in various contexts and spaces:
PARTICIPATE AND CO-CREATE WITH US:
How to NAVIGATE at the virtual environment: Move = W/A/S/D Move Up/down = Q/E Look Around = Right-Click-Hold
How to PLACE MetaBlock: Place a Horizontal MetaBlock = Left-Click the digital structure Place a Vertical MetaBlock = Right-Click the digital structure Delete your last Block = X (only works once, just for your own Block)
Display Options: Hide/Show Owner Text = T Hide/Show Material Text = R Hide/Show Exhibition Room = F
This digital environment is developed in 16:9 format for desktop web applications. This NFT is only active when it is open in your browser. As soon as you hide the web page, the connection is broken, just reload the page to re-enter and co-create. This is an experimental NFT, it works here and now, but there is a possibility that it might break in the future. If that happens I will try to update it, however I can not guarantee and ensure if that is possible, no refund will be given.
