Meta Coral Lamp by m-e-a-n

Meta Coral Lamp is the Metaverse presence of our first experiment in product design: 'Coral Lamp'.

'Coral Lamp' was designed to mimic marine organisms. Designed for 3D printing, the lamp is generated from lines drawn through layers of point clouds. The points are enclosed in meshes that cluster into the components that make up the lamp.

Each member is thick at the bottom for stability, and thin at the top to diffuse light. The strategy also optimizes the material used for 3D printing, in a similar way that nature optimizes its use of material and light for its formal evolution.
