I depict a woman wrapped in plastic, reminiscent of Velázquez's "Las Meninas," aiming to evoke thoughts about contemporary confinement, our relationship with the virtual realm, and the tension between preservation and liberation. By incorporating the idea of trapped emotions, I highlight the struggles of modern existence. Just as Velázquez immortalized his subjects, my work contemplates how the digital age shapes identity, representation, and the boundaries of artistic expression in the presence of these emotions.
