Memento Mori

"Memento mori" is a Latin phrase meaning "remember you must die," serving as a reminder of the inevitability of death and the brevity of life Inspired by the phrase, I created this mixed-media artwork where grotesque shapes express the inevitability of death, which accompanies us daily since we are born. Death is certain... What we do until its arrival is what matters.
