Meditations on Time I

My drawing is a representation of the all-consuming, devouring time. I created it when I questioned my position in a society solely focused on the idea of productive 'linear progress.' We jump from one goal to another, always looking ahead. We don't question what is behind or above, or around. Yet, we pretend time doesn't exist because we can't control it. We worship eternal youth. We don't acknowledge aging. I want to give myself time to exist and reflect, embracing the uncertainty of time.
