Ah, the artist trying to find himself again. Bad idea. I've been doing digital self-portraits for years, not because I think I am so great looking, but because I'm interested in how I change--not only due to the ravages of time, but also because I'm interested in how I choose to reimagine myself from day to day.
So this is the second in an ongoing series in which I will--well, in which I guess I will be trying to find myself.
ME! (12.17.2019) is my view of myself on this day, reflecting on the past. About ten years ago, the love of my life evaporated into the fog of Alzheimer's, and I was trying to accept the fact that I had lost her and our million dollar retirement on a Caribbean island. So I cut my hair. Yeah. Shoulder length or longer for decades, I morphed into a sloppy Mohawk. This image begins a bit later...
I wonder what or who I will be tomorrow?
