That thing which activates rage, anger and defiance in the challenging moments has rarely appered in my life and there is something very fascinating about it that inner source takes over.
Plato called it thumos which meant to be sprirtedness and he usually descripted as a white horse.
The Greeks described it as manliness (which women could also possess )
the Thumos (located in the heart area the same area that the actor Matthew McConaughey beats his chest like a drum in the wolf of wall street to showcase alignment of the body mind and soul.
Finding out where else had it been documented in history this led me to to the Ba and Ka and Akh.
In Egyptian documents the Ka Ba and akh is like the holy trinity in Christianity with the ka being the mirror soul of you but without a body.
The ba being the container for the Ka
The way mummies were created was for the Ba to meet the Ka..
When the Ba and Ka are connected, it produces the Akh which represents imortatitiy without form.
The hieroglyph for the Akh is the stork which is a metaphor foe re birth
In Europe, the stork is captured holding a towel in its beak delivering a baby.
In Hebrew, akh is featured in the word ruakh which means both soul and wind.
Akhu is pural for the shining ones and substants of the sun sunlight.
And Akhu in indian means ...RAT.
In late 2017 I had an idea about creating the book of R.A.T.S an acronym for Rising Above The Surface.
I was drawn by the rat because the Chinese time charts are described by animals an the rat is the first animal which means the becoming of dawn.
While having this idea and seeing that the next year of the rat was in 2020 it was revealed to me that rats spelt backwards means star.
I had this in mind of a journey of something so grounded could end up sometime so ethereal as has been my five am journey.
My idea was to create activity would capture that feeling.
So now I look at the R. A. T. S to Star process as a bridge to imortatitiy.
