During the iconographic documentation phase for "It Who is Without Sin" I came across 4 different versions of "Christ and the Adulteress" Gospel of John 8:3-11) 2 by Lucas Cranach the Elder and 2 more by Lucas Cranach the Younger.
The theme, the positions of the blessing hand and the particular face of a character with a violent and lustful gaze and a quite adequate reserve of stones made me think of a passage from the Gospel of Matthew (5:27-30) which speaks of aldultery, hands and eyes.
This context and weaving of details inspired me this little representation of an harsh methaphor in arcade combat coin-op video games resonance and pictorial gif hard lossy compression.
It is therefore a matter of literary and cultural references, nothing related to spiritual sentiment or satire about religion, faith or religious institutions. I wish nobody would feel offended as it's not my purpose.
