Description
He was born a mute and banished by his family at nine after burning their house down with his abusive father and himself still in it. He was found in the streets, taken in, mothered by the town's madam, and raised by whores. After three years, his new mother loved him but knew she could not raise a man. So she sent him to live and work with his new father, the boss of bosses and father influence to Machine, Mr. Watanabe. His father insisted on Machine wearing a sheet to cover the burns. Machine would learn to enjoy the sheet, as it reminded him of the bedtime ghost stories at the bordello. Machine would eventually earn his full sheet.
