Lossy Tryptic - Recursive Progressive Loss

In my initial wish I would have driven an extensive and methodical exploration of capabilities and visual outcomes of gifsicle (a software) "lossy" algorithm, in order to reach a mastery level in guiding the ouput by producing the right inputs but... dum loquimur fugerit invida aetas: memento mori, quam minimum credula postero!

So I just made the "Lossy Tryptic" an experiment guided by more empiric process.

Loss as iteration of destruction and reconstruction in continuous alternation. The visual effect is the "effect" of an algorithm designed to optimize some aspects of the image with the purpose to make the file lighter.

It's made of 1+3 parts:

• Initial Loss: the input gif file, included in the three tryptic images
• Progressive Loss: animation whose frames inputs are the same "Initial Loss" image subject to progressively higher lossy parameter
• Recursive Loss: animation whose frames inputs are the previous frame image ("Initial Loss" as first one) and a constant lossy parameter
• Recursive Progressive Loss: animation whose frames inputs are the previous frame image ("Initial Loss" as first one) and a progressively higher lossy parameter
