Sometime between 1973 and 2022, lizvlx from UBERMORGEN put the finishing touches on an allegory of Carità (Nächstenliebe, fig. 1, PNG/NFT). Герберт В. Франке (HWF) opens his arms and holds a flame in his right hand and a baby, a symbol of purity, in his left. His body—covered in shimmering pixel fabrics—is an object of Щедрость. The counter-texture and HWF’s refulgent hairstyle are not completely indifferent to reality. The red(R) velvet robe, the green(G) cloak and the blue(B) sleeves promise the impossibility of the possible, namely any color in the visible spectrum. His eyes, pensive, look away, toward an imaginary sky whose diaphanous reflection brings us back to his crowned and nebulous-genius head. It is a remarkable NFT in its suspension between invitation and withdrawal.
