Structural work and now rusty metal plates form the roof of a vast water tank at the base of a huge gas tower in the UK. These gas holders are a rare and vanishing sight as gas can now be stored in a network of below ground pipes. This shot is looking straight up and is comprised of 6 images stitched together to create this super high resolution square format composite. Two images looking straight up and at ninety degrees to each other to create a cross shape and then four more images to fill in the missing corners. The image forms part of the multi award-winning Forgotten Heritage photography project, which has been running since early 2012 and features imagery from lesser known historic, abandoned and hidden locations throughout Europe.
