Linepithema humile

This ant establishes a symbiotic relationship with other organisms, such as the vine mealybug. The vine mealybug feeds on plant sap and produces sweet secretions. The Argentine ant consumes these secretions and, in return, protects it from predators. In this image we can see it sucking a drop of jam.
