Light Study

Animation and Sound by Dane Patterson- This 23 second animation is made up of digitally painted representations of light sources in combination with repeating images and color. I wanted to experiment with imagery that felt a bit like an induction into some kind of trance state. The soundtrack is comprised of analogue synthesizer and heavily manipulated sounds recorded with a Tascam digital recorder.
