"We are like blossoming trees: holding on, letting go, rising & falling into our weathered souls."
In the beauty of falling flowers and the way they die gracefully, we can see a reflection of our own lives -- how everything is eventually bound to come to an end. But even though things may be temporary, that doesn’t make them any less worth fighting for. Every fallen flower gives way to a new one, so in that sense it represents new beginnings as well.
P.S., I picked up these flowers of coast hibiscus from the greenway that I walk across everyday. Most of my "props" are obtained from nature to express the relationship between woman and nature, life and season.
