Lengthen

1 part traditional (colored pencil on black paper) + 1 part digital, "Lengthen" is an interpretation of a woman stretching — physically, of course, as well as mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

This piece is an encouragement: Let us be ones that never shy from challenge, from being stretched, and instead welcome it.

Let us be ones that remain flexible through suffering — through the stretching, though it aches — that we might come out on the other side just a little bit taller.
