Lagoglyphs are a series of works that create a visual language and a form of writing that refers to GFP Bunny (2000)—also known as Alba, the green bunny— Kac’s genetically modified rabbit that glows fluorescent green under blue light. The lagoglyphs are visual symbols composed of two units (one green, one black), each evoking Alba through infinite variations. The real-time animation of the lagoglyphs, continuously flowing and reconfiguring themselves in new streams, place emphasis on the generative mutability of life.
