Lady Melody
His hand stitched through her struggling lips,
clamped by lies she metabolised.
Her blood drips, collected in a used trough,
her fear distilled for his signature scent.
He left.
Surviving took place in blank space.
She heals with the scars sewn in, breathing differently.
She turned her mumbles to claps, then beats -
and met harpists, drummers, mothers, and closet lovers.
They whispered: “You’re not dead. It’s just thread.”
She rose, realised her myth-making dreams.
Pressed her mouth, felt her smile tear open -
and screamed… ejecting each forced pierce and its tie.
Lady Melody sang with the birds in chorus,
but this time in rhyme.
🔖 Emotionally intense themes through poetic symbolism.
No graphic imagery - pure surreal gothic expression.
🎨 Artist Statement
Lady Melody is a symbolic, gothic poem-video exploring trauma, silencing, survival, and artistic rebirth.
A stitched mouth, a bloodied trough, a scream that unthreads silence - this is not a survivor’s tale. It’s an incantation. A ritual. A reclamation of rhythm.
Created under the Beaver Moon.

This piece is both testimony and transformation.
