Unfolding of an L sparse matrix into a lattice. The original matrix describes a 2D grid subdivision first documented by R. Diekmann and R. Preis in 1998. In this simulation, the matrix is represented as a lattice with 956 nodes which undergoes a process of unfolding until it reaches equilibrium.
