On the dark Christmas Eve, when the cold mantle of snow covered the narrow streets of the ancient village, children eagerly awaited the arrival of St. Nicholas. However, lurking in the shadows of the fir trees was a being feared by all: the Krampus.
His heavy chains jingled as he advanced with stealthy steps. With twisted horns reaching towards the sky and eyes glowing like burning coals, the Krampus sought out naughty children. A wintry whisper announced his presence, and the hearts of the little ones pounded with fear.
In a small cabin, Jorge, a curious and disobedient boy, had once again defied the rules. St. Nicholas had warned him, but Jorge couldn't resist the temptation to peek at the gifts ahead of time. The Krampus knew.
The door creaked open slowly, revealing the imposing figure of the Krampus. Jorge, trembling, hid under the sheets, but there was no escape. The Krampus extended his icy claw and, with a frosty sigh, caught him.
Instead of punishing harshly, the Krampus looked into Jorge's eyes and whispered words full of warning. "The spirit of Christmas does not reside in gifts, but in kindness and respect. Learn this lesson, young mischief-maker, before the shadows engulf you completely."
With a wave of his hand, the Krampus disappeared into the winter mist, leaving Jorge contemplating his misdeed. Since then, the boy understood the true meaning of Christmas, grateful for the visit of the Krampus who, with his threatening presence, had given him the chance to redeem himself and find light in the darkness.
