KICK

ARTIST - JEN RAY

A mysterious cloaked woman kicks high in the air, her spikes shining as she stares you down. -- This artwork is an exploration of the way women use costume to present themselves as tough, mysterious, strange and even vaguely threatening. I consider these characters similar to knights or super heroes who are fabulously dressed but who warm the viewer to keep their distance or risk getting hurt. Digital artwork is based on the original, physical artwork (Ink and watercolor on handmade paper 36 x 36 inches 2020 ) not included with purchase* Brought to Life by Artmuse Collector Digital Work accompanied by an Infinite Object screen.
