There once was a snail so slow, With a fly buzzing to and fro, The snail said, "Let's go for a walk, And have a good old fashioned talk."
The fly replied with a grin, "Sure thing, let's begin!" So off they went, down the lane, The snail's pace was quite mundane.
But the fly was quick and spry, Zipping past the snail's eye, "Come on now, pick up the pace!" The snail replied, "I'm not in a race."
They ambled on, through the grass, The snail hoped this stroll would last, But the fly was easily bored, And soon began to loudly snore.
The snail chuckled at the sound, As the fly slept safe and sound, And thought to himself, "Well, I suppose, Even flies need some time to doze."
So they continued on their way, Enjoying the sun's warm ray, And though they were an odd pair, They didn't mind, they didn't care.
For in each other's company, They found joy and harmony, And as they wandered side by side, They knew that life was quite a ride.
