Jubilation Brought Forth By Freedom

This artwork serves to commemorate & honour Freedom Day ( a day that is celebrated nationwide annually on the 27th day Of April in South Africa) and the amalgamated efforts of all those martyrs who fought for the extrication of the marginalised & prejudiced people of colour from the shackles of Apartheid.

The artwork was tremendously inspired by the below quotes:

We dedicate this day to all the heroes and heroines who sacrificed in many ways and surrendered their lives so we could be free. Nelson Mandela.

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” Nelson Mandela.
