Joy Boy Garden

Joy Boy holds a special place in Nathan's heart. As originally a lawn ornament from his childhood home in Barbados, immerse within the world of imagination which forms into existence as a young child of past gazes upon the ornament he called Joy Boy as he makes play around his childhood home.

The garden is the meeting point between the artist and Joy Boy and it serves as the catalyst for the creation of many memories, each with their individual world.

This piece is the first entry into a series of a recollection as the artist explores his mind into the past and visits worlds of old formed by imagination.
