John McAfee, R.I.P.

John David McAfee was one of the most popular computer programmers in the field of cyber security who was born in England on 18 September 1945 and found dead in his prison cell in Spain on 23 June 2021, shortly after the country's National Court approved his extradition to the United States. He had formerly claimed that he had 31 terabytes of confidential data on the corruption within the government agencies. In 2019, McAfee tweeted a photograph of a tattoo on his right arm, “WHACKD” in regard to his token, demonstrating that if he was ever found dead by hanging, it would mean he was murdered. As his lawyer mentioned later on, due to regular contacts with McAfee in prison, there was no sign of suicidal intent in spite of losing all his own properties.It is also worth noting that minutes after the report of his death, an image of the letter Q was posted to his Instagram account that was subsequently taken down, mysteriously and apparently in reference to QAnon conspiracy theories.
