This artwork reimagines John Lennon with a playful surrealist twist. The portrait is built through mixed media collage, combining newspaper fragments, kraft paper, and recycled materials to create texture and depth. The defining feature is the iconic round glasses, which dynamically alternate between two versions:
Slices of lemon, symbolizing freshness, acidity, and the witty pun behind the name.
Soda can openings, evoking pop culture and sustainability through everyday recycled objects.
The animation loops seamlessly, shifting between these two states, transforming Lennon into “Lemon.” The piece blends cultural memory, humor, and environmental awareness, while celebrating pop art with a touch of absurdity.
