姫蛍乱舞

This is the tenth photographic work for NFT.

This photo was taken in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is a firefly (Luciola parvula), a firefly endemic to Japan. I took this photo in the habitat of the firefly, which is rare and decreasing in number every year. In this photo, I combined the lights of several fireflies into one, and the exquisite course of the fireflies' flight conveys a sense of dynamism that is very pleasing to watch. By combining fireflies and bamboo forest, I expressed the beauty of Japanese harmony. Of all the firefly photos I have taken, this is one of my favorites.
