‘It’s Complicated’ is a series of photo compositions I made from street portraits. Emphasizing the lack of privacy in our camera controlled societies I took close up photos of pedestrians in Manhattan. I superimposed several portraits to insinuate unconscious relations between people. The geometric shapes I mixed in allude to people’s interaction with the unknown. It’s all complicated.
