It's All Relative

Instead of directly depicting his theory, I considered other uses and ideas of the word "relativity." In art, Joseph Albers experimented with color relativity, and Escher experimented with positive and negative space in his tessellations where the image you see depicted is relative to where you focus on the picture. I attempted to combine both of these ideas in my image making a tessellation that combines color relativity and references the idea of Einstein through the space motifs due to his impact on our view of the cosmos.
