Is knowledge key?

This digital artwork is made to look like a painting for a reason. People who look at paintings are mostly known to have a better understanding of poetry, questions about life, basically just non-linear or factual thoughts. So for this piece I would like you to think of yourself as a so called sophisticated person.

The painting itself is a chess piece on a playing field which is fading away.

Chess is a game based on intelligence, out-thinking your opponent even. Intelligence can be the key for some people to succes in life. Being rather smart gives you the upper hand on others and might get you a pretty good paycheck. But in reality, just like the fading playing field is showing. Intelligence is a way of knowing. A way of knowing within the capabilities of a human brain. And the more data you are fitting in your brain. The playfield becomes more and more faded. Untill you see yourself just looking at a painting. No worries, it's just letters that communicate a certain message. You can try to search for a meaning to what the painting is about. As long as it is something you feel by just looking at it for a while.
