IO

*This NFT is accompanied by the actual painting. Please contact me via Twitter for shipping details.

The 6th & largest installment of the Celestial Series, IO is painted on a 40" x 40" x 2" wood panel in efforts to highlight its dynamic volcanic surface. IO is the most geologically active entity in our solar system & its unique coloration can mainly be attributed to allotropes & compounds of sulfur. As with most paintings in the Celestial Series, IO is heavily layered, but its volcanism allowed me to experiment with more fluid mediums.
