Into The Unknown

This digital painting (a very raw and quick doodle) contains a small reference to Dürer's 'Selbstbildnis im Pelzrock', which itself played with traditional codes. In Dürer's time the artist as such was not emancipated like the creative folks of today. But are the artists of today still / already emancipated or even free? As social and cultural animals our journey continues and we strive into the unknown ... with or without a Pelzrock ... but let's rock!
