Into the Unknown

A small vessel slowly pushing its way through the arctic ice on the way to make new discoveries.

This image was nominated in the EyeEm Awards 2018 and featured in the British Journal of Photography.

I always have been fascinated by the way our world looks from a birds eye-perspective and drone photography opened up this world for me and is to date my favorite way to produce images. The potential to create abstract and surreal compositions is inspiring and exhilarating.
