‘Study me as much as you like, you will not know me, for I differ in a hundred ways from what you see me to be. Put yourself behind my eyes and see me as I see myself, for I have chosen to dwell in a place you can not see.’ – Rumi
This photo was taken during my month-long trip through India in front of the symbol of love, the Taj Mahal. It represents the beginning and end as a turning point in my life after an illness where I almost lost my life. Against medical advice, I decided to fulfill my lifelong dream and travel to India, inspired by the unique Steve McCurry. I have never regretted this decision and I am proud of the many experiences I have had during this time.
My big dream is to travel all Seven Wonders of the World and take self-portraits in front of them. Dancing and full of joy of life. My journey begins now...
