This work directly references The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai, reinterpreting its iconic composition through the language of glitch. The fluid, cyclical force of the ocean is fragmented into vertical ruptures and digital distortions, transforming the natural wave into a fractured structure. Tradition is not erased, but re-coded, where the original rhythm of water survives as a disrupted signal within a contemporary visual system.
