Infinity

With the advent of the concept of infinity and the infinitesimal system, the Vedic philosophy was elaborated, the decimal system was introduced up to 10^19, the idea of small quantities approaching zero, as well as the use of zero in mathematics There is widespread consensus that infinity, zero, and the decimal system originated with ancient Indian mathematicians. 
Astronomy in India predates the invention of telescopes and accurate positions of the stars and planets were mapped and such celestial events were documented in the Vedic era (before 5th century BC)

This solar eclipse was slated to occur on 26th December 2019. Here is a sequence of 30 images showing the different phases of the Annular Solar Eclipse, with Ring of Fire when about 93.4% of the sun would be eclipsed for a 3 minutes during the eclipse. The whole eclipse lasted around three hours.
