Glitch poetry is the practice of introducing orthographic anomalies in poems. Now and then, with probability of 15%, some odd characters (with ASCII code in 123–255) are introduced in the text at random positions, and with 40% probability they are randomly colored. The space between normal characters and the size of them are also decided randomly. My first experiment with glitch poetry, coded in Processing language, is with a poem I love, L’infinito, written by Giacomo Leopardi in 1819. ---
Sempre caro mi fu quest’ermo colle, ---
e questa siepe, che da tanta parte ---
dell’ultimo orizzonte il guardo esclude. ---
