In the Midst

This drone shot was captured on a solo trip I took up to Mount Tamalpais in California. I planned to capture a glorious sunset but I quickly lost hope as I began to drive up the mountain, heavy fog had obscured the entire view. I continued the drive up the mountain with a desperate hope that it might clear. After reaching the end of the road I was so surprised to see that I was actually above the fog which set me up for a much more beautiful scene than I originally imagined.
