Immersion Cycle

This piece represents the many cycles of life that we all experience. We are constantly being immersed in new circumstances, that we then come out of more experienced, and hopefully wiser than before. With this character, we are witnessing the same cycle we experience in an afternoon, playing out over endless lifetimes. Each return to stillness is a reminder that the immersive nature of life can be appreciated for what it is, not what it appears to be.

Painted in Artstudio Pro, then animated in After Effects.
