Im A Real Puppet

In a world where we can edit our own realities via social media, how can we keep ourselves in check? Are there no limits to the characters we can play? We all deserve the right to self-expression.

In this physical reality, we have all of the tools at our disposal to create a new surface if and when we choose i.e simply by dying our hair. A digital Avatar adds a new layer to our already complicated multifaceted personas.

When choosing our avatar will there be inclusive regulations, will we still have to identify as Male or Female? These digital versions give us the unlimited potential to edit our identities. Could we abandon our species and walk around as ‘alien beings?’ Is this the freedom of self-expression we have been waiting for?
