In an attempt to whitewash and dorkify the truth about Ichabad, Washington Irving set about a misinformation psyop to write the story Sleepy Hollow so as to memeify the name "Ichabod" as a dink. While it disempowered him, he remains a formidable goon that has taken a poignant liking to beheadings.
