Ice Land

It a very Dad-splaining way, I always tell people, "Iceland isn't called Iceland because of the Ice. It just actually translates to Island." Then I think of the Mighty Ducks line where they says "Actually, Iceland is very green, and Greenland is very Icy," and it makes me laugh. That said - despite the etymology lesson you never asked for - there is ice in Iceland.
