Icarus the Sapphire Imp

It's not that sapphire imps taste good. In fact, they are a chore to consume to say the least. Not to mention there's little reward in the end. Once you get past the stones, you'll find the meat to be stringy, gamey, and unappetizing. Some of the more scholarly observers might come to the conclusion that the gemstones embedded in it's flesh act as a deterrent to any natural predators....Then again, one can only take so much "prodding".
